The Mission of Blue Swimmer Adventures

Visitors have to-date only discovered about one quarter of the total area of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Halong Bay. Three quarters of the remaining unexplored area is in Lan Ha bay & Bai Tu Long Bay. In order to enable visitors to explore the magnificent, primitive and unsullied beauty of Lan Ha Bay & Cat Ba Island,  Cai Beo floating fishing village. Together with our professional staff, Blue Swimmer Adventures have spent many years researching the design for the most authentic boats. Our visitors will experience the natural wonders of Halong Bay and Lan Ha bay by kayaking, fishing, trekking, camping, dining on floating farmstay and cruising among the thousands of karst islands rising steeply from the sea. You will talk with local people to discover their culture, their work to protect the environment and the daily routines in the fishing villages…

Since its establishment, Blue Swimmer Adventures, have identified and developed a sustainable and responsible business associated with environmental protection, to help fishermen who live in World Natural Heritage Area. In coordination with the Lan Ha Bay Management Board, we have developed the program “For a Green Catba Island and Lan Ha Bay.” Supported by the government and local residents, this program ensures a future pristine environment so visitors will continue to visit our bay. It has 2 projects, the collection and treatment of waste and mangroves reforestation in Ao Coi otter valley, and the building of cultural floating platforms in floating fishing village of Cai Beo.
 

The Story of Blue Swimmer Adventures
Blue Swimmer Adventures has focused on developing authentic boats to bring guests to the remote areas in the bay, and we train our staff in the highest standards of customer service. We have built 2 types of high quality boats – classic junks. After studying tourism or the culinary arts, the crews are trained in skills relevant to our specialized tours. A trip on one of our junks leaves both passengers and crew with a greater understanding of each other. Thanks to our staff’s efforts, in 2012 Blue Swimmer Adventures were voted in the top 05 companies with the highest quality of service in Halong bay and Catba island by its customers.
